Cecilia Corderio

Cecilia Corderio is a theatre practitioner and writer, having recently graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in applied theatre and her aim is to develop a practice in St Neots and the Cambridgeshire area. Cecilia has been a writer for many years but has recently been working on plays and fiction with a view to publishing and selling her work.

Cecilia is currently on the board of directors of MGR Films, an independent film production company based in London, where she actively participates in project development and sourcing screenplays for the company. Her previous career was in political and institutional communications, mainly in Argentina, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador. She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, having co-founded and managed a non-partisan NGO dedicated to improving the quality of political leadership in Argentina.

Cecilia has an MA in history and MPhil in Latin american studies, both from Cambridge University and a postgraduate degree in Medieval Jewish history from Oxford University.

Faye Hatton

Faye is a freelance PR and communications director who founded Straw Hat Communications, a company that specialises in PR for the automotive and motorsport industry. Her client list is for brands including Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and FIA World Touring Car Championship, she has a passion and understanding for media relations, storytelling, PR strategy and clear messaging.

Ben Pitt

Ben Pitt cut his creative teeth as a musician and concert promoter in London. Since moving to St Neots in 2012, he’s worked as a video producer, music teacher, community development officer, journalist and town and district councillor. He is the director of St Neots Festival.

Chantal Palmer

Over the last 25 years, Chantal has worked professionally in small and large companies as a Creative Lead, Brand/Design and Marketing Manager – including at one of the country’s largest conservation charities. Her role here saw her effecting change across multiple fields by widening its digital offer and mixing brand development with its application across websites, email, social media, moving images and print.

Chantal sprinkles her innovative thinking and boundless energy across creative projects, with an audience-led, customer-first approach at the heart of everything she does. Chantal has also supported multiple local community initiatives either as a trustee or as a voluntary project lead, helping to get good work off the ground. You’ll always be able to spot her; she’ll be the one waving her arms about, getting really excited about an idea, and thinking out loud! Either that, or she’s out and about exploring the green spaces of St Neots with her curious poodle pup – Syndey Vicious.

Clair Slade

Clair Slade has a background in radio, sound engineering, marketing, graphic design, health and childcare and is fired-up by learning new skills. She currently volunteers with local charities and is working as a marketing coordinator for an international telecoms company.

Ann Hawkins FRSA

Ann Hawkins qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Management studying psychology and economics, she helped to implement the first major set of equal opportunities legislation in the UK. Ann started her first business in 1986 and has been advising other business owners since 2005.

She publishes information and ideas for business owners on her blog and in many guest posts and interviews.
