Huntingdonshire Pride in Place conference
In November Huntingdonshire District Council is running a one day conference at Burgess Hall in St Ives and Neotists are invited.
The conference named HDC Showcase: Pride in Place is on the 14 November 2024. It celebrates the districts diversity of place and bustling visitor economy, but also highlights what Huntingdonshire can offer to support growth and encourage new investment opportunities. It’s also based on the Place Strategy.
Partners are invited from across the country to discuss expert insight on how to further boost our offering. The event will provide guests with an opportunity to network and make valuable connections and also explore our Farmer’s Market style stalls showcasing some of the outstanding businesses and destinations that Huntingdonshire has to offer.
Arts and culture for Huntingdonshire
Neotists director Richard Slade will be joined by BID Huntingdon Manager Paul Sweeney to talk about the tourist economy in the district and how arts and culture are key to delivering a long-term strategy.
Other speakers include Dr Nik Johnson, Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Mark Robinson, Chair of the Government’s High Streets Taskforce and Amy Priestley, Urban designer of the Mini-Holland project in Waltham Forest.
