Arts on the square
The Market Square in St Neots has been reclaimed as the social and cultural heart of St Neots, instead of a car park, (of which there are plenty!) In the past 12 months, we have put on 30 different cultural events in the square including music, theatre, comedy, magic and art. The result is that many local businesses have seen an increase in footfall and takings.
This is in addition to our free two-day St Neots Festival where 12,000 people enjoyed and created events for arts, music and unexpected delights. This schedule fulfils one of the key aspects of our Manifesto:
When art, design, science and technology work in harmony, economic development follows.
We’ve had our heads down getting on with the projects so thank you to our patron Stephen Ferguson for highlighting the amount we have achieved over the last year.
